empath worldwide - oasis

Overview Oasis was created as a mockup for a potential floral shop.

Goal The goal was to make a website that was engaging and followed all brand guidelines.

Outline Flowers can be offered for almost any occasion. This website highlights those situations with a wedding collection, the holidays, and gifts. This websites layout was formatted to highlight these in the navigation bar, the top banner, and with eye catching photographs in the lower, but still prominent, content under the banner.

Outcome The colors of the website were chosen to give off a simple background to draw attention to the photographs. Photographs and labels would display visual testimonies to the visitors, providing an idea of what the shop offers. The bottom content before the footers give small encouragements as to why they should be chosen over other competitors.

museum of ice cream

Overview This website prototype was created in response to the somewhat confusing and chaotic site of the Museum of Ice Cream.

Goal To revamp the MOIC’s already existing website so that visitors would feel less overwhelmed, have an easier time navigating, and finding a way to quicken the loading process.

Outline I took time to go through MOIC’s original site, made note of repetitive elements, ones that needed to be changed, and others that were clear and concise. I made sure to take into consideration the websites color palette, font choice, and layout.

Outcome To the left, you can see that organized, spaced out, and easy to navigate mockup. This site offers a constant color palette and less chaotic layout. The visuals were turned into photographs instead of animations to lessen the time it took for the website to load. I made sure the site still held its fun and playful elements by implementing the ‘melting ice cream’ at the footer like the original site, adding ice cream related icons throughout the page, and bright, colorful visuals.
